Breast Petals – How to Apply Adhesive Ones and Advantages of Silicone

December 28, 2016

What Are Breast Petals?

Breast petals basically serve as substitutes for bras for women who won’t wear bras due to discomfort or are unable to due to a disproportionate size. They were invented during theSecond World War era of the 1930’s for the purpose of preventing total nudity and/or simply preventing the nipples from being noticeable through clothing. They can also be used as “accessories” to go with swimwear, formal dresses or dresses that don’t provide enough room for a full bra. Colorful versions are often seen on those who work as topless or fully nude strippers.

How to Apply Adhesive Breast Petals

In order to prevent rash or any other infections from developing, you want to apply your petals properly. Here’s how to do so:

-Ensure that the area is thoroughly washed and dryed

-Peel the backing or if you’re reusing a petal, just apply fresh adhesive

-Apply and put light pressure on the nipple until the adhesive is fully sticking

-When you’re ready to take it off, do so gently. If there’s any adhesive leftover, apply some baby oil or rubbing alcohol on it to get it off

Advantages of Silicone Petals

Silicone breast petals tend to be especially helpful in blending in with the breasts’ natural skin. This helps to make it look as if you’re not wearing a petal. They give off a very smooth appearance and typically feel like an extension of your own skin. They can be very easily washed and reused. However, since they are not safe in a washer or dryer, they must be handwashed in warm water and laid flat to dry.

Another great advantage to silicone petals is that they can stick together. If you happen to misplace a piece of the plastic that it came in or if it ships that way, it can be easily stuck to its other pair without any problem whatsoever.
